What liquids and granules can be used?

DJI Agras drones support a wide range of liquids, such as crop protection products*, foliar fertilizers, and compost tea, as well as solids such as fertilizers, seeds, and organic granules. Thanks to the adjustable speed and interchangeable spreading discs, particles from approximately 0.5 mm to 5 mm can be applied accurately. The drones are equipped with advanced atomizers that produce a fine and even mist with droplet sizes ranging from approximately 50 to 500 microns. This ensures optimal distribution and maximum coverage of liquids. The atomizers are designed to prevent clogging and increase efficiency, even when using thicker or more viscous liquids.

Do I need a permit or training?

Yes, in the Netherlands, Belgium and many other countries a permit is required for professional drone use, including registration and training. Companies must register with the Chamber of Commerce, apply for an operator number with the RDW (NL) or DGLV (BE), and take out drone insurance. In addition, an operating permit based on SORA is required, together with various documents such as an operational manual and proof of insurance. Crew members must follow training, including company-specific pilot training, with regular repetitions. The drone must be registered and marked, properly configured and checked before each flight, and all flights must be carefully prepared, logged and followed up. Always check the current regulations with the ILT (NL) or DGLV (BE). See our onepager for more information
